Test post from my iPad via Safari. The editor loaded up good, no problems there. I have tried this on blogger, the editor doesn't load properly you only get HTML editor on blogger, have done the same on word press, live journal and few others with the same result. Typepad seems to be mobile device friendly which is good.
Oh ... I have lost a paragraph trying to be smart with the editor. An undo button on the editor would be handy!
